I was also led to believe through several sources that I would be able to play the same character on PC as well as PS4. Obviously, because of the commitment I have to this character, that isn't an option for me. The way I understand it, if I were to create another service account to get past this message on PS4, I would be unable to use my character associated with my existing service account, which has been active since before A Realm Reborn. In order to play FINAL FANTASY XIV, you must first purchase the digital download from the PlayStation Store or register a product code." I have purchased it from the store, and it is fully downloaded and installed, so either that error message is misleading, or something else is amiss. When the bundle became available today at 9:00PM PST, I attempted to follow the steps on screen on my PS4, but I received an error message stating "No valid service account is available to play FINAL FANTASY XIV. I have an existing Square Enix account, and an active service account for FFXIV: A Realm Reborn for Windows PC. I recently purchased the FFXIV Online bundle for PS4.
